The People's Government of Inner Mongolia autonomous region recently released a series of measures to promote the integrated development of Hohhot, Baotou and Ordos.
The measures are adaptable to Hohhot, Baotou, Ordos and Horinger New Area to exploit regional complementary advantages to yield win-win results. Hohhot is the capital of Inner Mongolia and Horinger New Area, which covers 496 square kilometers, is located in Hohhot. Baotou is the largest city in the region and Ordos has the region's fastest economic growth rate.

Following are the major contents of the measures focused on 10 areas.
1. Cooperative industrial development
Inter-regional industrial collaboration parks or alliances are encouraged to jointly develop a unified mechanism for investment, development and tax.
For the successful cases where Fortune 500 and Chinese top 500 firms are attracted to major industrial parks in Hohhot, Baotou and Ordos, both the industrial parks and firms will be rewarded by the government.
Firms in the area are encouraged to cooperate more closely in deep processing of products.
Promotion and exchange platforms between major industries and projects and between downstream and upstream firms will be established.
A unified tourism system will be promoted, including a unified development outline, tour guide, serial measures and a website.
