Officials from Ulaanqab attended an investment meeting in Beijing on March 1.
The event was held to attract investment to the city from Tianjin and Hebei, as well as the capital.
Sponsored by Ulaanqab municipal government, over 100 potential investors attended the event.
At the meeting, Fei Dongbin, mayor of Ulaanqab, introduced the city’s attractive business environment, as well as its transportation systems, energy resources, and industrial development.
Seven projects valued at 7 billion yuan ($1.04 billion) were agreed and signed at the meeting.
The meeting has brought new projects and opportunities for the city, said Fei.
