Jianggan district of Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province recently released a program of action for the further development of digital economy over the next few years.
The program states that the district's digital economy will reach 20 billion yuan ($2.99 billion) within the next four years, with the focus on developing four industrial clusters, three characteristic towns and 10 demonstration zones featuring digital economy.
In 2018, the added value of the digital economy industry in Jianggan reached around 7.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17.9 percent and ranking first among the six districts of Hangzhou.
