In 2018, the value added of construction enterprises in China was 6.18 trillion yuan($934.05 billion), up by 4.5 percent from 2017.
The profits made by construction enterprises qualifying for general contracts and specialized contracts reached 810.4 billion yuan, up by 8.2 percent from 2017. Of this total, the profits made by state-holding enterprises were 247.0 billion yuan, up by 8.5 percent.
