Icy car race finishes in Jilin

The 2019 "Lusi Cup" Changbai Mountain China Ice and Snow Rally Championship concluded at Changbai Mountain in Northeast China's Jilin province, on Feb 24.

The event, which opened on Feb 22, attracted around 70 drivers from all over the country participating in four rounds of competitions.

Fan Gaoxiang and Yue Cailei from Chengdu emerged as victors of the race, with drivers from Beijing winning the second and third prizes.

Jilin is the first of six stops for the China Rally Championship (CRC) 2019, with local authorities hoping the event will promote winter tourism to Changbai Mountain and boost the profile of the whole region.
