Inner Mongolia achieves stable economic growth in 2018

Residents' satisfaction is improved

Annual per capita GDP: 68,302 yuan, increased by 4,538 yuan year-on-year

Fiscal expenditures in improving people’s livelihoods: 337 billion yuan, up by 6.4 percent

Urbanization increased

By the end of 2018, there were 253.5 million permanent residents in the region, increased by 54,000 year-on-year

Urbanization rate reached 62.7 percent, a year-on-year increase of 0.7 percent

Stable employment

Annual newly employed population: 259,000, surpassing the target

Urban unemployment registration rate: 3.6 percent, 4 percent lower than the controlled target

Increased incomes

Annual per capita disposable income: 28,376 yuan, increased by 2,163 yuan year-on-year

The growth rate of per capital disposable income of herdsmen has been greater than that of urban residents for two consecutive years.

Upgrading of consumption level

Annual per capita living expenditure: 19,665 yuan, up by 3.8 percent

Engel's coefficient: 27.1 percent, dropping by 0.4 percent year-on-year
