Baotou company wins Xiong’an New Area construction project

China Second Metallurgy Group Co successfully won the bid for a project to build the steel structure of the high-speed railway station in Xiong'an New Area on Feb 16, reports Baotou Evening News.

The project is the first construction project of China Second Metallurgical Group in Xiong'an New Area in 2019.

The Xiong'an High-speed Railway Station is located north of Chuangyi Road, Xiong’an New Area, North China’s Hebei province, with a construction area of 43,496 square meters and a building height of 45.6 meters. The building type is a metal frame structure.

Construction work on the project mainly involves the processing and production of steel components below the bearing layer. The construction period is tentatively scheduled to begin on April 15, 2019 when the first batch of components arrive from the market.

Based in Baotou Rare Earth High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, China Second Metallurgy Group Co is one of the core subsidiaries of China Minmetals Co and the Metallurgical Corporation of China. The steel structure fabrication and installation tasks in the rectification zone of the main unit were completed with high standards, and high quality.
