Hundreds of young women attired in cheongsam dresses will stroll leisurely through Shili Lianjiang Scenic Spot in Doumen District on Saturday, March 2. Their charming looks, even more evident against such a picturesque background, will be captured by professional and amateur photographers.
The annual procession, held for the fourth time, will continue the tradition of demonstrating the charm of cheongsams (qipaos). The traditional one-piece dress is famed as one of the sexiest outfits ever created for Chinese women. The modern, reformed cheongsam has new elements in color and cut but maintains the design of elegant curves.

The presentation is sponsored by the Shili Lianjiang Agriculture Sightseeing & Experience Garden and organized by the Doumen Cheongsam Culture Association. Previous sessions have seen thousands of visitors.
In addition, there is also a sea of rapeseed flowers, paddy field, and crystal lake at the scenic site. Swans, guinea pigs, raccoons, camels, peacocks, and macaques are on site. There are also museums themed on agriculture, insects, and arts where visitors can try printmaking, ceramic handicrafts, and rotating heavy stone mills.
