East China Import & Export Commodity Fair set to open

The 29th East China Import & Export Commodity Fair will be held from March 1 to 4 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, showcasing light industrial products, clothes and textiles products etc.

The fair has attracted more than 4,000 exhibitors, including 452 overseas enterprises. Covering 126,500 square meters of area, the fair will set up 11 pavilions totaling 5,868 booths.

A windproof umbrella developed by Zhejiang Tianwei Rain Gear Co can prevent level-16 typhoon and this is likely to prove a hit at the fair. Overseas products, such as paper fans, cosmetics and face massagers from Japan, are also likely to draw much attention.

Besides, a series of forums and sessions, such as the cross-border e-commerce summit and the Belt and Road matchmaking meetings, will also be held.
