The establishment of the Liuzhou Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) has recently been approved by the General Administration of Customs, the Ministry of Finance, the State Taxation Administration, and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange.

Covering an area of 297.9 mu (19.86 hectares), the logistics center is located in western Liudong New Area. It neighbors the Guantang Operation Zone of Liuzhou Port in the West, the North Ring Highway in the North, the Hunan-Guangxi Railway in the East, and the East Outer Ring Road in the South.

This provides the logistics center with access to the national highway and railway networks, while also allowing its commodities to be transported to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong via water.

The logistics center will engage in bonded warehousing, international logistics distribution, simple processing, value-added services, inspection and detection, imports and exports, entrepot trade, commodity displays, logistics information processing, and export rebates.

Construction on the center, undertaken by Dongcheng Group, is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
