Harbin Railway Station recently introduced an area for private car-hailing services to ease the difficulty of passengers waiting for taxis.
A special waiting zone for private cars was established in Area C on the second floor of the underground parking lot at the Harbin Railway Station.
The area is equipped with two law enforcement officers and two security guards 24 hours a day to guide vehicles, maintain traffic order and prevent entry of private cars without operational qualifications.
Currently, there are three car-hailing platforms, including Didi Chuxing, Caocao tailored taxi service and Shouqi Limousine & Chauffeur, providing car-hailing services at the Harbin Railway Station.
Establishment of the private car hailing zone has effectively reduced the taxi waiting time for passengers and solved the problem of passengers not being able to find their car after ordering one on a car hailing service.
