Guangdong Yuehai Feed Group is a national key hi-tech enterprise that integrates research and development (R&D), production and sales, and takes aquatic animal feed, additive premix, and aquatic product protection as its main business. It is a large high-quality aquatic feed production base, with subsidiaries located in Guangdong, Zhejiang, Fujian, Hunan, Hubei, and Shandong provinces. 

The group has more than 3,000 employees. As of June 30, 2018, there were 367 full-time R&D personnel, including five senior engineers. The company has invested tens of millions of yuan in establishing its provincial-level enterprise technology center, the aquatic animal feed engineering technology research and development center, the aquatic animal nutrition academician workstation, and Zhanjiang Marine Industry Base Aquatic Technical Service Center, with six aquaculture demonstration bases and five aquatic animal disease detection centers.

The company also carries out cooperation with universities and research institutes such as the Ocean University of China, Guangdong Ocean University, Zhongshan University, and the South China Sea Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. At present, it has completed more than 430 research and development projects and 68 research projects are ongoing, including 10 national-level projects, 35 provincial-level projects and 26 municipal-level projects.

The group has a marketing team of more than 500 people, consisting of professional staff and experienced technicians. They are able to provide free technical advice and training services to clients.
