The 27th Guangzhou International Travel Fair will be held at the China Import and Export Fair Complex from Feb 21 to 23, with 1,042 enterprises from 55 countries showcasing their countries' tourism attractions and products.
Covering an exhibition area of 36,000 square meters, the three-day fair will invite Sri Lanka to be the guest country of honor, giving it an opportunity to showcase 18 of its best travel agencies, hotels, and vacation villages.
This year's fair will feature halls displaying cultural tourism attractions, international tourism attractions, domestic tourism attractions, and travel agencies, bringing together various tourism products and services and showcasing new tourism trends. Special forums on the integration of culture and tourism in the Guangdong-Hong Kong –Macao Greater Bay Area will also be held during the fair.
As the heart of Cantonese culture, Guangzhou boasts a rich variety of historical and cultural attractions. This year, the southern Chinese city will open a new culture and tourism hall covering an area of 3,000 square meters. It will serve as a place where famous chefs, artists, sculptors, Lingnan painters, and paper cutters can display their unique skills to visitors.
