Jinan plans to invest 1.16 trillion yuan into 270 projects

Jinan plans to launch 270 major projects this year, with a total investment of 1.16 trillion yuan ($168.1 billion), local media reported.

These projects include 187 real economy projects with an annual investment of 194.3 billion yuan covering 103 manufacturing projects and 84 service projects and 83 urban construction projects with an annual investment of 105.7 billion yuan.

Additionally, some major projects such as urban metro line R2 and R3, the renovation of the city's international airport and the Shandong First Medical University project were also announced.

The city government also plans to further improve living conditions for locals by funding 39 livelihood projects. The city will renovate 7.6 million square meters of old residential areas and aims to complete the renovation of 3,254 dilapidated houses in rural areas.
