Tongliao to strengthen development through brand construction

According to local authorities, Tongliao will promote the ecological development of agriculture and animal husbandry this year.

By implementing agricultural high-efficiency water-saving projects in strict accordance with the annual plan, vigorously implementing the public brand creation project of agricultural and livestock products, and strengthening two regional public brands of "Tongliao Yellow Corn" and "Kerchin Cattle", Tongliao wants to strengthen its development.

In addition, Tongliao will further develop the brands of "Kailu Red Pepper", "Kulun Buckwheat", and "Tongliao Mongolian Medicine", as well as continuously improve the quality and brand influence of green organic farm products through various measures.

In 2018, through the vigorous development of agriculture and animal husbandry industry, Tongliao promoted the overall revitalization of the countryside. The planting area of green organic and pollution-free agricultural products in Tongliao reached 3.11 million mu (207,300 hectares), and the value of its regional brands of "Tongliao Yellow Corn" and "Kerchin Cattle" reached 28.8 billion yuan ($4.26 billion) and 20.3 billion yuan respectively.
