Per capita GDP of Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian province stood at 102,037 yuan ($ 15,116.6) in 2018, up by 8,747 yuan from the previous year, local authorities said on Tuesday.
The figure was 37,393 yuan higher than the national average, as per the Fuzhou municipal bureau of statistics.
Official data show that the capital city's economic output reached 785.68 billion yuan last year.
Meanwhile, local residents' income also posted moderate growth as a result of stable economic development. In 2018, Fuzhou's per capita disposable income rose 8.6 percent from the prior year to 35,376 yuan, a slightly higher rate of increase than that of per capital GDP.
Viewed separately, urban and rural per capita disposable income last year reached 44,457 yuan and 19,419 yuan, respectively, up 8.5 percent and 8.7 percent, according to the bureau.
