Over 1,200 people enjoyed the first flower field concert held at the Sanya Paddy Field National Park in Sanya, Hainan, on Feb 12.
The performance lasted an hour and a half, and took place atop a flower-shaped stage set up among a sea of flowers.
Shang Lin, director of Sanya's publicity department, said that the concert was an attempt at integrating culture with agriculture and tourism to form a distinct cultural brand.

The event was sponsored by Sanya's publicity department and the Hainan Provincial Musicians' Association, and co-organizers included Sanya's tourism commission and culture and sports bureau.
Sanya Paddy Field National Park, located in Wanpo village, Haitang district, is the largest rice and dinosaur-themed park in Sanya to integrate agriculture and tourism.
The park opened to the public on Jan 24, 2018. Its first section spans an area of 2,800 mu (186.67 hectares) and cost a total of 2.3 billion yuan ($339.7 million) to build.
The park, featuring a rice paddy garden, an area with 323 life-sized dinosaur models, paddy-themed restaurants, and a flower garden, was rated as a national 4A-level tourist attraction last September.
