Jilin province in Northeast China received 14.72 million tourists from all over the world during the Spring Festival holiday from Feb 4 to 10, marking a year-on-year increase of 16.52 percent, according to the province's culture and tourism department.
The total tourism revenue reached 14.29 billion yuan ($2.11 billion), a year-on-year growth of 19.64 percent.
Tourism activities featuring folk culture, ice and snow, and hot springs were popular among visitors.
