Songjiang half-marathon set for March 17

The 2nd Songjiang Half-Marathon will be held on March 17 this year. The sign-up channel has opened on www.sj-marathon.com and will last until the quota is completed before February 28.

This year there will be altogether 10,000 participants, with 9,900 common slots having a registration fee of 150 yuan ($22.4). The rest will be used as slots for public benefits at a fee of 300 yuan. It can be paid through multiple channels, including WeChat and Alipay.

A disposable chip will be used to count the time during the process and no deposit is required.

The distance will cover about 21 kilometers, with the race starting at Happy Valley and circling various scenic spots in the suburban district, including Sheshan National Forest Park, Moon Lake Sculpture Park, Chenshan Botanical Garden and Guangfulin Cultural Heritage.
