Concert brings New Year spirit to Guiyang

A concert presented by the Guizhou Huadeng Opera Theater and the Guizhou Ethnic Orchestra was held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Jan 30 in celebration of the upcoming Spring Festival.

The concert consisted of classic music known and loved by audiences everywhere, and celebrated the New Year though orchestra performances, piano concertos, percussion music and female solos.

The year 2019 marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of China. The concert expressed people's hopes for the future and celebrated the country's development over the past 70 years.
