Meet colourful and special Tianjin during Spring Festival

Tianjin's Spring Festival celebration lasts for more than a month, throughout the second half of La Yue (the twelfth month) and the first half of the Zheng Yue (the first month) of the lunar year. Many customs from the past still remain and are still followed.

Like most places in China, Tianjin people welcome the New Year by cleaning, pasting the window, offering sacrifices to ancestors and gods, visiting relatives, and storing new year provisions. Yet, with long history, it has also preserved its own stories that are exclusive to Tianjin.

The story of spring - a photo exhibition commemorating the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up

The exhibition is divided into three parts: Major Decision-making, Great Changes in People's Livelihood and Great Rejuvenation. Through more than 100 photos, it highlights the great achievements made since the reform and opening up.
