Overpass cross beam at Yangpu CBD put in place

A cross beam of an overpass in the central business district of Yangpu district has been put in place, according to a Shanghai Morning Post report on Jan 30.

The main structure of the overpass linking Songhu Road, Zhayin Road and Sanmen Road between New Jiangwan Town and Wujiaochang is expected to be completed by the end of 2019, and the overpass is expected to be put into use by the end of 2020.

The diamond-shaped overpass will link Tishman Square, Knowledge Heights Square, Holiday Square and International Square.

In June 2012, Tishman Speyer launched The Springs project, the company's flagship development in Shanghai, at the gateway to New Jiangwan Town in Yangpu. The Springs is an integrated development comprising The Springs Residences – 877 exclusive apartments across a total area of 160,000 square meters – and The Springs Center – a 740,000-square-meter standard Grade A business space. The development also includes a shopping center, serviced apartments, retail stores, a hotel and recreational facilities.
