On Jan 25, a total of 1,100 LCD (liquid crystal display) computer monitors produced by Shaanxi Siying Electronic Technology Co were loaded onto the China-Europe Chang'an freight train bound for Bishkek, capital of Kyrgyzstan, at the Xi'an Comprehensive Bonded Zone in the Xi'an International Trade and Logistics (ITL) Park.
The train is expected to arrive in Bishkek in 12 days, three weeks faster than traditional land transport.
The 1,100 computer LCD monitors are worth a total of $100,000. The order was signed in early January, worth a total of $300,000.
Taking advantage of the China-Europe Chang'an freight train, the company has expanded its exports in countries along the Belt and Road, including Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Russia, Turkey, Israel, Algeria and Germany.
This March, the company's new production line will be completed and begin operating, increasing monthly production capacity from 30,000 units to 80,000 units.
"In the future, we will create more employment opportunities for surrounding residents. We will also increase investment in R&D," said Feng Jianjun, general manager of Shaanxi Siying Electronic Technology Co.
In recent years, the Xi'an ITL Park has been adhering to the "channel + industry" strategy, relying on the advantages brought about by the China-Europe Chang'an freight train and the beneficial policies of the Xi'an Comprehensive Bonded Zone, attracting a large number of enterprises engaged in technology, electronics information and processing trade.
In the future, the park plans to promote the high-quality development and market-oriented operation of the China-Europe Chang'an freight train.
