Baotou banner records bumper year for key projects

Last year saw a busy schedule of key projects receive investment in Darhan Muminggan Joint Banner, a banner under Baotou's administration, according to a report in Baotou Daily.

Local authorities confirmed a total of 88 key projects worth 27.42 billion yuan ($4.07 billion) in 2018 and a planned investment of 7.49 billion yuan to be completed during the year.

Among them, 48 projects are ongoing, with a total investment of 15.44 billion yuan and a planned investment of 3.26 billion yuan. 40 are new projects with a total investment of 11.98 billion yuan and a planned investment of 4.24 billion yuan.

In 2018, work on 79 projects began and 26 were completed, with investment funds of 4.44 billion yuan spent.

Among them, investment in ongoing projects was 1.83 billion yuan, and 56.2 percent of planned investment was completed. Investment in new projects was 2.62 billion yuan, with 61.7 percent of planned investment completed.
