Nantong recognized for green development

The air quality in Nantong was the best among 53 cities in Jiangsu province in 2018, with its industrial growth still being at the forefront.

The city’s industrial taxable sales volume broke 1 trillion yuan ($147.7 billion) in 2018. Growth rates of the output and investment in the hi-tech industry ranked second in the province.

The city also won the bid to host the 2019 China Forest Tourism Festival, according to an announcement released by the country’s forestry authority on Jan 16.
