Hainan locals can enjoy one-stop shopping at the Hainan Poverty Alleviation Shopping Fair from Jan 25 to 27. The fair is meant to celebrate the upcoming Spring Festival, which falls on Feb 5 this year.
Eleven cities and counties participated in the fair, including Haikou, Ding'an, Wuzhishan, Tunchang, Chengmai and Lingao.
The fair was divided into multiple areas focusing on poverty reduction, poultry purchases, subscriptions for bulk goods, New Year gift purchases, and more. Citizens and tourists can easily find what they’re looking for with the help of easy-to-read signs and directories.
The fair offers fresh produce and seafood delivery. In addition to food, there are also special handicrafts and Li costumes on display.
The fair was well-received by citizens and tourists, as they consider it a pleasure to buy fresh and high-quality foods while also lending a helping hand to impoverished households.
