Quzhou in East China's Zhejiang province is scheduled to further cut down on government red tape this year, according to the details of a recent scheme launched by the municipal government.
The "At Most One Visit" service will aim to make it possible for businesses and citizens to get their administrative procedures all done in just one visit , as opposed to several which it may have taken previously.
The scheme states that needless certificates, including duplicates and ones which prove something which is already clear, such as certifying family members, , are now not required from businesses or citizens.
By the end of March, it will be possible to obtain 50 percent of the certificates obtained online and the rest can be replaced by written letters of commitment.
By the end of December, electronic certificates, electronic letters of commitment and electronic filing will be available throughout the city.
