Nansha embraces 11 cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area within 100-km-radius and is striving to transform from a geographic center to a regional transportation hub by shortening transportation time. The Pearl River Delta Area can be reached within 60 minutes, Guangzhou downtown and surrounding areas within 30 minutes, and Nansha clusters within 15minutes.

The Nansha Station Hub is positioned as the central hub of the Greater Bay Area, a city complex with high-quality integrated services and an important hub site of the Pearl River Delta Intercity Network. The Nansha Cruise ship home port hub is one of the national cruise ship departure ports and a water recreation passenger port. Qingsheng Station is an important integrated passenger transportation hub in southern Guangzhou.

At present, the main skeleton of the Nansha Rail Transit Hub has been initially constructed. A total of 16 rail transits have been planned and the total length of the planned route is about 461.2 kilometers. The Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong high-speed railway, Metro Line No. 4 and its South Extension section have been fully completed and put into use. The Nansha Port Railway, Pearl BayBridge, Metro Line No.18 and No.22 are making good progress.

In terms of the layout of the high-speed road network, the Dongguan-Foshan Expressway and the Guangzhou South Second Ring Expressway are horizontal lines, and the Guangzhou-Macao Expressway, Dongxin Expressway, Nansha Port Expressway, Nansha Avenue-Panyu Avenue and Longxue Avenue are vertical lines. The "two horizontal and five vertical" transportation network has been formed.

The Humen Second Bridge is scheduled to be completed and opened to traffic in May this year. The construction of the Guangzhou-Zhongshan-Jiangmen Expressway and other projects is progressing smoothly.
