Beiben Trucks Group wins recognition for innovation

Beiben Trucks Group Co, a Baotou-based truck manufacturer, has been selected as a National Enterprise Technology Center for 2018, according to a document released by the National Development and Reform Commission.

As part of government initiatives to spur innovation, the firm will be able to take advantage of preferential policies to support future scientific and technical development.

Funded by seven companies including China North Industries Group, China North Industries Corporation, and Inner Mongolia First Machinery Group, Beiben Trucks Group Co is a Baotou-based truck manufacturer with total assets of 15.3 billion yuan ($2.3 billion).

At present, the company operates two advanced technology and research centers based in Baotou and Beijing, both of which operate a fully digital environment and have strong industrial advantages.
