Hukou waterfall partners with travel agencies

Hukou waterfall scenic spot signed partnership agreements with nearly 50 travel agencies from Henan and Hebei provinces, Beijing, Tianjin and Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Jan 19.

In order to upgrade its rating to a national 5A tourist attraction, Hukou waterfall scenic spot has been investing in its infrastructure by resurfacing its streets and expanding roads leading to the spot. A new tourist service center, directional signs, parking lots, and rest rooms are under construction.

A must-see scenic spot for tourism on the Yellow River, over the last year Hukou waterfall hosted various events, such as the Great Rivers Civilization Tourism Forum and the Linfen stop of the first Expo of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Shanxi. In 2018 it has established cooperation agreements with over 60 travel agencies. Partnered travel agencies brought 300,000 visitors to the scenic spot last year, up 10 percent compared to the previous year.
