Artists from the two orchestras joined hands to perform renowned Cantonese music including Colorful Clouds Chasing the Moon.
Founded in 1958, the Guangdong Music and Folk Art Troupe is both a professional art troupe specializing in the creation, performance and research of Guangdong music and folk art and a national intangible cultural heritage preservation unit for two major items – Guangdong music and Cantonese operatic songs.
The string quartet Con Affetto was founded in 2005 by students from the Academy of Music in Cracow, Poland. It has a long-standing reputation in Europe and has collaborated with many of the world's top orchestras.
