Xi'an Central Hospital

Xi’an Central Hospital, founded in 1952, is a large-scale comprehensive modernized third-level first class hospital with advanced equipment, complete disciplines and strong technical force.

The hospital is located in the prosperous area of Xi'an, with 1000 beds, more than 40 intensive care beds and 16 modern laminar flow operating rooms. The annual outpatient (emergency) attendance is about 710,000 people. More than 33,000 patients are treated annually.

At present, the hospital has 1967 employees, including 1585 doctors, nurses and technicians, 348 professional technicians with senior professional titles. There are 16 experts, 345 doctors and postgraduates, who enjoy the special allowance of the State Council and win the honor of provincial and municipal outstanding contributions. The hospital has 23 administrative departments, 51 clinical and technical departments, among which the departments of neurology, radiology, respiratory medicine and occupational diseases (also the preponderant specialty of Shaanxi medicine) are the key disciplines of Xi'an medicine, and the departments of digestive medicine, hematology, ultrasound medicine, cardiovascular medicine, endocrinology, burn plastic surgery and neurosurgery are the preponderant specialties of Xi'an medicine.
