Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital

Shaanxi Provincial People's Hospital is a comprehensive Grade-III Class-A public hospital organized by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government. Located at No 256, Youyi West Road in Xi’an, it has a floor space of 106,000 square meters and a construction area of 315,000 square meters. There are 74 clinical science and technology rooms, and 13 national and provincial key disciplines. The hospital has 3,000 open beds, and receives 1.6 million annual outpatient visits, 116,000 annual discharges, and more than 50,000 annual operations.

The hospital now has 13 specialized hospitals including the children's hospital, respiratory hospital, digestive hospital, neuro-brain hospital, urological hospital, and maternity hospital. It has undertaken 671 national-level and provincial-level scientific research projects and won 100 scientific and technological achievements awards from governments of all levels. Besides, it has established international academic exchanges and cooperation with medical, teaching and research institutions in the United States, Germany, France, Japan, Australia and other countries.
