Envoys from 17 countries invited to Hainan

A promotional conference for the China (Hainan) Pilot Free Trade Zone was held in Haikou on Jan 15.

Diplomatic envoys from 17 foreign embassies in China participated, and in the next few days they will conduct a thorough survey of Hainan province.

During the five-day trip from Jan 15 to 19, the envoys will visit cities and counties including Haikou, Qionghai, Wanning and Sanya to investigate healthcare, historical culture, environmental protection, tropical agriculture and tourism in the province.

The envoys hail from Sri Lanka, Slovenia, Cape Verde, Micronesia, Vanuatu, Bulgaria, Costa Rica, Peru, Montenegro, Fiji, Spain, Somalia, Belarus, Togo, Chile, the Maldives and Afghanistan.
