The Global Alliance of SMEs (GASME), a non-profit multinational non-government organization dedicated to serving small and medium-sized enterprises around the world, is to locate its Asian headquarters in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province.
The news came from Christian Wulff, former president of Germany and global chairman of GASME during his visit to the China Qiantang River Phoenix IPO Center in Hangzhou on Jan 14.
Jin Xiangzuo, president of World Packaging Center Group, received Wulff and briefed him on the positive construction work of the center.
According to Wulff, the Asian headquarters will serve as an important platform where entrepreneurs, government leaders and international organizations exchange ideas and forge cooperation.
A joint venture between GASME and the World Packaging Center Group, the China Qiantang River Phoenix IPO Center is designed to create an incubation platform integrating the functions of resources reassignment, planning guidance, and professional training for to-be-listed enterprises, so as to enhance industrial concentration and the core competence of enterprises.
As one of the economically dynamic regions in China, Hangzhou has enjoyed a rising international profile since the city hosted G20 Summit in 2016, said Wulff, adding that GASME is confident that the center will be built into a world leading incubation base with high quality international resources.
