Zhoushan Cunde Pharmaceutical Co Ltd

Zhoushan Cunde Pharmaceutical Co Ltd was established in 1960 on the basis of the former Zhoushan Pharmaceutical Company. In 1997, it became a wholly owned subsidiary of Hailisheng Group. In 2009, its shares were acquired by Zhejiang MasterCard Group Co Ltd and became a wholly owned subsidiary of the group.

Zhoushan Cunde Pharmaceutical Co Ltd is the largest pharmaceutical commercial enterprise in the city. The company has offices, a finance department, a quality management department and a business department. It also owns Zhoushan Cundetang Pharmaceutical Retail Co Ltd. There are more than 160 employees, of which more than 70 percent are professionals, six senior managers, and more than 50 pharmacists. In 2008, the company passed the GSP re-certification.

The company is mainly engaged in producing Chinese herbal medicines, proprietary Chinese medicines, chemical raw materials, chemical preparations, antibiotics, biochemical drugs, biological products, medical equipment and healthcare products. Its sales network covers all the islands in the city, and it offers an all-weather distribution service. Annual sales can amount to 300 million yuan ($44.4 million). It has been rated as one of the 100 City Shop No Counterfeit stores and a time-honored brand in Zhoushan.
