Pingyao hospital upgraded to provide smart services

A project combining a smart hospital with mobile payments, jointly launched by Pingyao People's Hospital, Pingyao Rural Commercial Bank and the website sxyygh.com, the largest health service portal in Shanxi province, was put into service on Jan 11.

The project will advance digitization of the medical system in Pingyao county by offering a self-serve computer interface for medical registration, medical bill payments, consultation, printing of checkup reports and medical insurance. This will shorten the time for patients seeking medical treatment while improving the service efficiency and quality of local hospitals.

In addition, Pingyao People's Hospital has introduced a health care mobile app called "Health Shanxi", to facilitate patient registration in hospitals across Shanxi province including this one.
