Northeast China's Jilin province has announced a total of 40 policies to support the development of the general aviation industry, according to news from the provincial government.
The policies include establishing some airports for general aviation, optimizing the approval process for operating aircraft, and offering support in developing new air routes.
According to the announcement, general aviation airports will be built in places such as Helong city, Nong'an county, and Jiaohe city.
General aviation industrial parks will also be built in the province, to support the development of the sector and offer personnel training.
The province is also encouraging the development of low-altitude tourist routes, as well as aerial sightseeing and air sports and races.
