Ordos sets ambitious tree target for 2019

The city of Ordos in Inner Mongolia autonomous region has promised to plant 1.48 million mu (98,667 hectares) of trees in 2019, according to a recent press release by the local forestry authority.
The city is renowned for its green initiatives, and last year reported planting 8 million trees.
