Mandula Port is fast becoming a vital trade hub for Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, with import and export declarations hitting 3.04 million tons as of Dec 12, 2018. The figure represents year-on-year growth of 39.28 percent, marking a record high for the port. With the aim of diversifying the type of trade the inland port handles, Mandula Port has completed a special border trade zone and is undertaking a port project related to the import of meat.
