Baotou celebrates scientific achievements of 2018

8. Development of the city's science and technology innovation platform has been continuously optimized. The enterprise technology center owned by Beiben Trucks Group and CNNC North Nuclear Fuel Co has been identified as the National Enterprise Technology Center. There are a total of 45 offices for academicians in the city, with six opened during 2018.  A total of 10 military and civilian integration technology innovation demonstration enterprises were recognized.

9. The number of patent applications in the city exceeded 3,000 in 2018, an increase of 20 percent over the previous year.

10. The Clinical Medical Research Center of Neurological Diseases of Baotou Central Hospital was approved to be included in the first batch of Clinical Medicine Research Centers of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, marking the only clinical medical research center in the city that has been selected for the list.
