A ferrous metal vertical extruder equipment and processing technology research and development project developed by North Heavy Industries Group won the Recognition Award of the China Grand Awards for Industry –– for its outstanding contribution to industrial development and innovation, at an awards ceremony in Beijing, on Dec 9.

7. In December 2018, the Baotou Talent Innovation and Venture Capital Fund was established. The fund's capital size shall not be less than 200 million yuan in the first period, and the fund's duration shall not exceed 10 years in principle. The investment period shall not exceed 8 years in principle, and the withdrawal period shall not exceed 2 years in principle. The fund is fully market-oriented and adheres to the business principles necessary for equity investment.
