Baotou celebrates scientific achievements of 2018

3. In August 2018, Baotou city issued its 10 Measures for Promoting Scientific and Technological Innovation in Baotou. The new actions are aimed at supporting 10 major areas such as implementing major science and technology projects, developing science and technology enterprises, strengthening the building of science and technology innovation platforms, promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and encouraging the integration of military and civilian science and technology by means of government grants and funds.

4. Baotou Science and Technology Big Data Service Platform was launched in early August. There are currently 735 companies registered on the platform, with 2,000 active daily users, some 4,600 promotion projects, and more than 100 current corporate needs. It has accepted more than 100 business requests, eight of which have entered the negotiation stage of commercial contracts.

5. During 2018, 74 new national high-tech enterprises were identified, marking the fastest growth in the number of the companies. At present, there are 160 high-tech enterprises in the city.
