Changchun worker honored for dedication, innovation

An employee of CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co Ltd, Luo Zhaoqiang was awarded the second prize of the State Scientific and Technological Progress Award, according to an announcement made on Jan 8.

Luo works in Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province, where he has been working on a project regarding simulation technology and how it can be applied to testing high-speed trains.

Over 28 years of conducting safety tests, the diligent worker has always attached great importance to innovation, and has promoted technological innovation in the research of key technologies for high-speed train vehicle systems.

Indeed, his work has made a significant contribution to China's high-speed rail industry.

In the future, Luo's employers plan to focus more on the research of advanced technologies for high-speed trains, such as automatic unmanned driving and obstacle detection technologies, to provide a sound development base for China's high-end equipment manufacturing sector.
