Lianhuashan Park is located in the north of Shenzhen, occupying an area of 181 hectares. It is a popular resort in the city, boasting an enchanting landscape and refreshing environment. It enables visitors to enjoy the pleasure of climbing without being too exhausting with a height of 106 meters. Other major attractions of the park include Adventure Playground, Kite Square, Guanshanyue Art Gallery, and a fishing pond. 

In the south of the park, there is a coconut tree woods that covers an area of 80,000 square meters, with tropical and subtropical scenery. The large coconut forest and the grass provide a beautiful environment for visitors. Additionally, the artificial lake covers an area of 30,000 square meters and is a popular site for its clear water. 

Kite Square of Lianhuashan Park

In the center of Kite Square stands the bronze statue of Vice Premier Deng Xiaoping. It was built in memory of the general designer of Chinese reform and opening up to the outside world who established Shenzhen as the special economic zone. Another attraction of the square is surely the colorful kites. Everyone is such a skilled kite-flyer that any tangles and crashes can rarely be seen. Various kites, big or small, high or low, fly freely in the blue sky creating a unique and enchanting sight. 

Lianhuashan Park

Every year when summer comes, Lianhuashan Park undergoes a stunning and beautiful transformation. Hundreds of thousands of phoenix flowers bloom all over the mountain, creating a splendid ocean of red. In addition, Lianhuashan Park is the perfect place to enjoy the scene, providing stunning views from the top of Lianhua Mountain.
