19 projects worth 22.4b yuan start construction in Fuzhou

A total of 19 projects worth 22.4 billion yuan ($3.29 billion) began construction on Monday in Binhai New City in Fuzhou, capital of East China's Fujian province.

The projects cover a series of high-tech industries including big data, artificial intelligence and cloud computing.

Among them is the China Telecom Fujian Southeast Information Park. With an investment of 2 billion yuan, the park is expected to be built into a data center of high standards,boosting the integrations of the cutting-edge techs in real economy in Southeast China.

Thus far, the projects that have landed in Binhai New City have reached 227, with the accumulative investment reaching 285 billion yuan, covering the sectors including big data, education and medical care. 17 of them have finished construction while 99 under construction
