Located between Teemall and Zhengjia Square, Parc Central Square, formely Hongcheng Square, covers a total land area of 47,000 square meters. The total building area is 11,0000 sq m, including two floors above ground and three stories underground. It is now a shining landmark offering international boutiques, well-known restaurants and the first LUXE cinema in south China.
Differing from other large shopping malls, Parc Central Square only has two floors above ground, with a large area of outdoor green field and a sinking type square. Set in the heart of Guangzhou’s central business district, Parc Central Square is the first luxury mall developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties in south China and the premier upmarket mall for global luxury brands in the area. It integrates the ground floor and the underground retail area in the same multi-tiered park green space.
The landscape is the center of the region, with different levels and forms of greening offering places for social activities, rest and relaxation. The exterior of Parc Central Square looks like two fishes, which means peace, harmony and wealth in Chinese culture. Two buildings surround the central garden and connect at one end via a flyover. The buildings also adopt a rain water collection system, low radiation glass facade and EFTE roof to further improve environmental performance.
Parc Central Square also established a new public transit station in the city. People can reach it through the subway and bus system, and the pedestrian overpass connects the center to the surrounding areas.
To get to Parc Central Square, people can take subway line 3 and get off at Tiyu Xilu station or take APM line and get off Tianhenan station.
