Expats have fun at fluid painting party in Ningbo

A fluid painting party themed on "colorful dreamland" was held in the Old Bund, Jiangbei district, Ningbo, on Dec 16, attracting many expats in the city to participate. 

Fluid painting is an art technique that applies thin paints to a canvas by pouring, sprinkling, or other dynamic methods, to create art pieces without traditional brushwork. 

It is currently a popular form of art in Europe and the United States. 

At the party, participants learned about fluid painting from a professional artist for two hours and created many beautiful pieces. They also enjoyed some band performances and delicious desserts. 

Gautam Halder from India, an expat living in Ningbo, was glad to have made many new friends through the activity. 

The Old Bund in Jiangbei district is a fashionable art block that integrates diverse cultures. Many of the city’s art activities and multicultural events have been held there.
