Covering an area of 450 hectares, Yearning Tea Plantation opened to the public on Oct 8, 1998. It is the first National 5A-level Tourism Destination in the east area of Guangdong province. The beautiful and ecological tea plantation shows the long history of Hakka culture and the profound tea culture.
The tea plantation is an ecological agricultural demonstration base and tourist resort integrating tea production with tourism were guests can stay for days marveling at the transformation of an ecological public welfare forest to a mix of stunning natural landscapes with modern luxury. The resort’s Weilong Hotel and Weilong Restaurant has received the top National Construction Prize for its Hakka cuisine and Hakka performances.
Lingering over acres of tea fields and the Longnashan eco-region, visitors can enjoy and experience elegant art performances about tea-making, while filling in the beautiful garden art and flowers. The Yearning Tea Plantation is the perfect place for people to escape the bustle of the city and breathe some fresh air.
