Guizhou projects selected for China Sports Tourism

At the 2018 China Sports Culture Expo and China Sports Tourism Expo held in Guangzhou from Dec 11 to 13, a total of seven projects from Southwest China's Guizhou province were selected for the China Sports Tourism Boutique Project.

Zunyi Wolong Lake Water Sports Center was selected as a China Sports Tourism Boutique Scenic Spot, the Yuping Chahuaquan tourism route was selected as a China Sports Tourism Boutique Route, and Liupanshui Yeyuhai Resort was selected as a China Sports Tourism Boutique Destination.

The Pingtang County Water Dragon Festival and Dragon Boat Championship, China Liupanshui Zangke River International Paragliding Competition, China Liping International Kabrathon Triathlon Open and China Liupanshui Whipping Top Competition were selected as China Sports Tourism Boutique Events.

In recent years, Guizhou has been taking full advantage of its environmental resources and has created a new enthusiasm for mountain sports, outdoor leisure and sports tourism, continuously promoting the integration of sports, culture, tourism and poverty alleviation.

Since the program first appeared in 2010, a total of 65 projects have been selected as sports tourism boutique projects, including 12 "Top 10 Boutique Projects" and one "Innovative Boutique Project".

The 2018 China Sports Culture Expo is hosted by the General Administration of Sport of China and the Chinese Olympic Committee. It is currently the only expo hosted by the General Administration of Sport of China.

The high-profile China Sports Tourism Expo is hosted by the All-China Sports Federation, Chinese Olympic Committee and China Tourism Association.
